Couples usually come to me when the same argument has been happening for months, or when something has broken the trust between them. Often both people feel alone in the relationship, even while sitting on the same couch.
I don’t take sides. My job is to help you both see the pattern you’re caught in, understand what each of you is really asking for, and practice new ways of reaching each other. Many of my clients are queer and trans people, and all relationship structures are welcome here.
I also see individuals who are exploring gender, sexuality or what they want from relationships, and who want a therapist they don’t have to explain the basics to.
