Individual therapy
From $200For anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, identity and the transitions that turn life upside down.
Three psychologists, one shared way of working: unhurried, honest and grounded in the relationship.

We work with the things that make life feel heavy: anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, and the relationships that shape who we are.
Harbor House is a small practice in Carroll Gardens. We chose to stay small on purpose. Every client is known by name, sessions never feel rushed, and the three of us talk every week about how to help the people we see.
How we work →
Every new client starts with a free 15-minute call. We listen to what’s going on and suggest the psychologist who fits best, even if that means waiting a week.
Techniques matter, but the strongest predictor of change in therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. We protect it: small caseloads, unhurried sessions and room to say what isn’t working.
Talking helps. So does noticing what your body does when you feel anxious or unsafe. Our approaches include EMDR, somatic work and emotionally focused therapy alongside conversation.
We meet every week to consult on our work together, with your consent. You see one psychologist, and you benefit from the thinking of three.
Three licensed psychologists with different specialties and one shared approach.
For anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, identity and the transitions that turn life upside down.
For couples stuck in the same fight, recovering from a breach of trust, or wanting to feel close again.
Extended sessions for processing traumatic memories, with plenty of time to settle before you leave.
“A small practice on purpose. We would rather know you well than see everyone.”
Most therapists work alone and rarely get to think out loud about their cases. We built Harbor House so that doesn’t happen. With your consent, your psychologist brings questions to our weekly consultation, and you get the benefit of three perspectives on your care.
We are out-of-network providers. We give you a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many clients recover part of the fee.
You don’t have to know. Book a free 15-minute call, tell us a little about what’s going on, and we’ll suggest the best fit.
Yes. All three psychologists see clients online anywhere in New York State, and in person at our Carroll Gardens office.
Most clients start weekly. As things improve, some move to every other week. We decide together.
Say so. It’s part of the work. We can change direction, or help you find someone better suited, inside or outside our practice.
Tell us a little about what’s going on. We’ll reply within one business day and suggest the psychologist who fits best.
