Dr. Marcus Hale
PsychiatristMD · Board-certified in Psychiatry · he/himMarcus leads psychiatric care at Mind,Full. He sees medication as one tool among several, never the whole plan, and he spends the first appointment listening before he prescribes anything.
He works closely with the psychologists on the team, so decisions about medication are made with a full picture of how therapy is going. When a medication is working, he helps you keep it that way; when it isn’t, he helps you change course or come off it safely.
Before Mind,Full, Marcus spent nine years in a hospital outpatient clinic, where he saw how often people fall through the gaps between specialists. Mind,Full is his answer to that.

Dr. Grace Liu
Clinical PsychologistPhD · Licensed Clinical Psychologist (IL) · she/herGrace specializes in anxiety and OCD. Her work is practical and collaborative: together you map what the anxiety is asking you to do, and then you practice doing something different, one manageable step at a time.
She is trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP), the most effective treatment for OCD, and she keeps it humane. Nothing happens in session that you haven’t agreed to first.
Grace often works alongside Dr. Hale when medication is part of the plan, and her clients tell her the weekly team check-ins make them feel less like a case and more like a person.

Dr. Ana Lucía Torres
PsychologistPsyD · Licensed Clinical Psychologist (IL) · she/herAna Lucía works with adults who carry trauma, grief and the particular weight of building a life between countries. She sees clients in English and Spanish, and many choose to move between both.
Her approach combines EMDR with relational, body-aware therapy. The first sessions are about safety and stability; the harder memories come later, at a pace you set.
She grew up in Mexico City and Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, and she brings that double perspective into the room with warmth and a good sense of humor.

Dr. Sam Whitaker
PsychologistPhD · Licensed Clinical Psychologist (IL) · they/themSam specializes in eating disorders and body image, and works in tandem with Nora, our dietitian, so therapy and nutrition support pull in the same direction.
Their approach is affirming and non-judgmental. Recovery isn’t about perfect meals or loving your body every day; it’s about food and your body taking up less space in your mind, so more of your life can come back.
Sam also sees LGBTQ+ adults working through identity, family and self-worth, with or without an eating concern.

Nora Lindqvist
Registered DietitianMS, RDN · Certified Eating Disorder Specialist · she/herNora is a registered dietitian who believes food should support your mental health, not become another source of stress. She never prescribes diets or weighs clients without a clear reason and their agreement.
She supports clients in eating disorder recovery alongside Sam, and works with Marcus when psychiatric medication affects appetite, weight or energy. She also helps people notice how regular meals, sleep and mood affect each other.
Sessions are practical and kind: grocery lists, a plan for tricky evenings, and a lot of room for questions.
